SEO, AEO & GEO Visibility
Being found is no longer just about Google. We make existing websites visible across search engines, answer engines and AI assistants.
Three Places People Now Search
For twenty years, getting found meant ranking on Google. That has changed. A growing share of people now ask an assistant instead of searching, and get a single synthesised answer with no list of links to scroll. If your business is not part of that answer, you are invisible to those customers no matter how well you rank.
So we work on all three. SEO for traditional search rankings. AEO for featured snippets, voice results and direct answers. GEO so that AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity can find, understand and cite your business correctly. Much of it is the same technical groundwork — clean structure, accurate structured data, genuinely useful content.

SEO, AEO And GEO Explained
Three different targets, one shared foundation. Here is what each actually means.
SEO — Search Engines
Classic search engine optimisation: ranking in Google and Bing results. Site speed, mobile usability, crawlability, internal linking, keywords and content quality. Still the foundation everything else builds on.
AEO — Answer Engines
Answer Engine Optimisation targets the direct answer rather than the blue link: featured snippets, People Also Ask, and voice assistant responses. This is won with clearly structured questions and answers plus correct FAQ markup.
GEO — Generative AI
Generative Engine Optimisation makes your business legible to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, so that when someone asks them for a recommendation in your category, your business is described accurately and cited.
Common Questions
What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO optimises for ranking in traditional search engine results like Google. AEO, or Answer Engine Optimisation, targets direct answers such as featured snippets, People Also Ask boxes and voice assistant replies. GEO, or Generative Engine Optimisation, targets AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity so they can find, understand and correctly cite your business. They share a technical foundation but target different surfaces.
How long does SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes can improve things within weeks. Meaningful ranking movement for competitive terms usually takes three to six months, because search engines need time to recrawl, reassess and build trust in the changes. Anyone promising first-page rankings in two weeks is not being straight with you.
Can you improve a website you did not build?
Yes, that is most of this work. We audit your existing site, identify what is holding visibility back, and fix it. You do not need to rebuild or move to us to get results.
Do I really need to worry about AI assistants yet?
Increasingly, yes. A meaningful share of searches now end in an AI-generated answer with no click through to any website. If assistants cannot parse who you are and what you do, you are absent from those answers entirely. The groundwork overlaps heavily with good SEO, so it is not a separate expense so much as doing the same job properly.
